Author , The Inner Work of Leading in a Broken System

Christy Honeycutt is the voice leaders turn to when the system stops working.

She is the author of The Inner Work of Leading in a Broken System—the book putting language to what an entire generation of executives has been feeling—that the leadership playbook they were handed no longer produces leaders worth following, or workplaces worth staying in.

Christy spent two decades in the talent-operations trenches at organizations like IBM and Korn Ferry, leading massive transformations and the complex people strategies that keep fast-moving companies running. Today she works with C-suite leaders, founders, and the people-leaders inside them to do the inner work that leading in a broken system actually requires so they can stop performing and start building cultures people don't quietly leave. As a keynote speaker, she takes that message to leadership stages with talks on the corporate wound, the new workforce, and why burnout is structural, not personal. As host of Inside the C-Suite, she sits down with the leaders rebuilding work from the inside. As a certified CliftonStrengths® coach, she helps executives align their natural strengths with their business strategy so they lead with energy instead of sheer effort.

Christy is not interested in helping anyone hustle harder. She's here to help leaders build a legacy that doesn't cost them their health or their soul.

A proud Native American, yogi, novice race car driver, and aspiring barefoot water skier, Christy lives the conviction at the center of her work — that leadership is a full-body practice, and the people doing it deserve a system worth leading inside.
