Hilary Thompson is the Director of People & Performance at Enbridge, where she leads enterprise initiatives designed to help people and teams deliver on the company’s strategy in a complex, evolving environment. She partners closely with leaders and HR to shape the mindsets, behaviours, and systems that enable organizational alignment and sustained high performance.

With nearly 20 years at Enbridge, Hilary brings deep organizational credibility, having held roles across Operations, Engineering, Business Development, Capital Projects, Asset Management, System Planning, and regulatory settings. This breadth of experience gives her a practical, systems-level understanding of how strategy, culture, and performance come together in day-to-day work.

Hilary is a Professional Engineer with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Global Professional Master of Laws in International Business Law from the University of Toronto.  She is an alumna of Harvard Business School and, as a passionate lifelong learner, has completed advanced studies in executive coaching and positive psychology through the Rotman School of Management and the University of Pennsylvania.
