Janine Sedgwick is a seasoned senior HR leader, with a wealth of experience in driving progressive human resources practices that enhance business success through engaged and empowered employees. With a career spanning hotels & leisure, hospitality, luxury and CPG, Janine has cultivated a strong reputation for leading organizational change, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and creating positive work environments that support employee growth and development.

Currently serving as the Vice President of People & Culture for Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Janine oversees HR initiatives for over 1,200 employees at 20 hotels across Canada and corporate offices. Her oversight includes premium hotel brands as well as lifestyle boutique properties, including Marriott, Hyatt, IHG and Hilton.

Her leadership has been pivotal in driving culture transformation, aligning people strategies with business goals, and elevating employee experience and engagement across a large and diverse workforce.

Before joining Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Janine held senior HR roles at prominent global companies, including Conagra Brands, Louis Vuitton, and Marriott International. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, and leadership development, while championing programs to enhance organizational culture and performance. Her ability to lead HR transformations, navigate complex labor relations, and implement data-driven employee engagement initiatives has led to measurable results across the organizations she’s served.
