Maria Jesus Ramirez is a Senior Fellow with the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), McKinsey’s business and economics research arm.
She leads research on generative AI and the future of work, as well as digital identity, financial infrastructure, and small-business productivity. Her work focuses on the drivers of productivity, economic growth, and inclusion in a rapidly changing economy.
Prior to her current role, Maria was an Associate Partner in McKinsey’s Financial Services Practice, where she advised financial institutions on strategy, risk, analytics, and talent topics.
