As Senior Vice President People at Cordelio Power, Penny leads the People function, overseeing all aspects of human resources, talent strategy, and organizational development. Her focus is on building high-performing, highly engaged teams across Cordelio Power.

With over 20 years of experience in HR leadership, Penny is known for her ability to scale people operations in high-growth environments and for her commitment to creating workplaces where employees can thrive. Previously, she led the People function at FreshBooks, VarageSale, and ecobee - notably playing a key role in the acquisition of ecobee by Generac for $1 billion, one of Canada’s largest tech acquisitions to date.

Penny holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and a post-graduate certificate in HR Management from Humber College. She is an active member of the HR community, including being a founding member of Transform Toronto.
