Ticket Terms
1 About us
We are M-Media Events trading as ‘Future of Work’, a company registered in England and Wales under company number: 11796882. Our registered office is at 14 Walden Road, Keynsham, Bristol, England, BS31 1QW.
We operate the website www.futureworkseries.com (“Website”) which provides details of events which we organise (“Events”).

3 These terms
3.1 These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this Website and your registration for paid tickets to any of our Events listed on our Website.
3.2 By purchasing a ticket (“Ticket”) to an Event, you (“you” or “Attendee”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not purchase a Ticket.
3.3 For the purposes of these terms, you are a ‘consumer’ if you are buying services from our Website as an individual for purposes wholly or mainly outside of your trade, business, craft or profession. You are a ‘business customer’ if you are buying services from our Website for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession. Some terms only apply if you are a consumer and other terms only apply if you are a business customer, so please make sure you read these terms carefully.
3.4 Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in these terms is to M-Media and any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ is to the person placing an order on our site.
3.5 You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the UK to place an order on our Website. If you are a business customer placing an order on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to place such order for and on behalf of that business.
3.6 We may make changes to these Terms at any time. However, the terms which apply to your order will be those in force at the time you submitted your order to us.
3.7 Please print out or save a copy of these terms and any emails from us for your records, as we will not save or file a copy for you. These terms are only available in English.

4 Ticket Purchases
4.1 Tickets must be purchased via the Website using the payment methods provided.
4.2 All Ticket prices are displayed either in the local currency of the jurisdiction of the Event, and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4.3 A confirmation email will be sent once payment has been successfully processed.
4.4 Your Ticket shall be delivered to you using the email address provided immediately upon receipt of payment.
5 Right to Refuse Admission and Ticket Sales
6 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse the sale of any Ticket, cancel any Ticket, and/or refuse admission to any Attendee at any time, including where we reasonably believe that the Attendee is a competitor of ours or of the Event, or where their attendance could reasonably be considered to undermine the commercial integrity, confidentiality, security, or intended purpose of the Event.
7 Where a Ticket is cancelled by us under this clause prior to the Event, the Attendee shall be entitled to a full refund of the Ticket price paid. No additional compensation shall be payable.
8 Our exercise of this right shall not constitute a breach of these Terms.
9 Ticket Use
9.1 Each Ticket admits one (1) person only to the Event on the date specified.
9.2 Only the person registered for the Ticket must use the Ticket. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold without our prior consent. Consent may be obtained by completion of the registration form by the new Attendee in order to receive the Ticket. This process must be completed and the Ticket must be in the new Attendees name prior to arrival at the Event.
9.3 You must present a valid Ticket (digital or printed) at the entrance to the Event. We shall then supply you with your pass to the Event.
10 Your information
10.1 Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in line with our Privacy Policy available here, which explains what information we collect and hold about you, and how we collect, store, use and share such information.
10.2 Data may be used for ticketing, customer service, and marketing communications related to the Event.
10.3 If you consent to us sharing your data with the sponsors of the Event during the registration process, your data will be shared with the relevant sponsors of the Event who may contact you using the contact details used during the registration process. Your data will be governed by the relevant sponsors privacy policy.
11 Events
11.1 Descriptions, dates and locations of our Events are set out on our Website.
11.2 Attendance at the Event shall be at your own risk. We accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the Event, except where required by law. We accept no liability for personal property brought to the Event.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for any death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
11.4 All content, branding and materials associated with the Event are the property of us, the sponsors or the exhibitors.
12 Refunds and Cancellations
12.1 Tickets are subject to availability, and provided on a first come first serve basis. We accept no responsibility for Tickets being sold out.
12.2 Whilst we do not intend to do so, we reserve the right to alter, postpone or cancel the Event at any time. In such case we shall notify Attendees via the contact details provided on registration of any such cancellations or postponements. We shall not be liable for any costs which you may have incurred in attending the Event which we have cancelled or postponed of any such nature (travel, accommodation or otherwise).
12.3 Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation, postponement or rescheduling of the Event by us. If you are no longer able to attend the Event, please contact us.
12.4 If the Event is cancelled or postponed, all Attendees shall be offered either a full refund or a transfer to a rescheduled date. Refunds shall only be processed to the original payment method within 14 days.
12.5 We reserve the right to alter the program, schedule or exhibitors without prior notice to you.
12.6 Such changes do not entitle Attendees to a refund unless the Event is cancelled in its entirety.
13 Events beyond our control
We are not liable to you if we fail to comply with these Terms because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
14 No third party rights
No one other than us or you has any right to enforce any of these Terms.
15 Complaints
15.1 If you are unhappy with us or anything related to these Terms or the Event, please contact us using the details provided above.
15.2 We will handle any complaints in accordance with our Complaint Handling Policy which is available upon request.
16 Governing law and jurisdiction
16.1 If you are a consumer, the laws of England and Wales apply to these Terms, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
16.2 If you are a business customer, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, the terms, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. You and us both irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, these terms, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
17 General terms
17.1 You are not allowed to transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone without our prior written consent. We may transfer our rights under these Terms to another business without your consent, but we will notify you of the transfer and make sure that your rights are not adversely affected as a result.
17.2 If any provision of these Terms (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of any other provision of these Terms will not be affected.
17.3 If you breach these Terms and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms.
17.4 If you are a business customer, any variation to these Terms will not be binding unless expressly agreed in writing between you and us.
17.5 If you are a business customer, you and we both agree that these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your order. You acknowledge that you have not entered into these Terms in reliance on any representation or warranty that is not expressly set out in these Terms and that you will have no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation on the basis of any statement in these Terms.
