VIP and Speaker Attendance Terms
1 About us
We are M-Media Events trading as ‘Future of Work’, a company registered in England and Wales under company number: 11796882. Our registered office is at 14 Walden Road, Keynsham, Bristol, England, BS31 1QW.
We operate the website www.futureworkseries.com (“Website”) which provides details of events which we organise (“Events”).

3 These terms
3.1 These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this Website and your registration for VIP tickets to any of our Events as a “VIP” or a speaker at the Event (“Speaker”).
3.2 You will be considered to be a VIP if you (i) have been specifically invited to an Event by us and offered a free ticket to the Event; or (ii) have a speaking slot at the Event (“VIP Ticket”).
3.3 By registering for a VIP Ticket to an Event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not register for a VIP Ticket to the Event. You may alternatively choose to pay for your ticket to the Event, which will be governed by separate terms.
3.4 For the purposes of these terms, you are a ‘consumer’ if you are buying services from our Website as an individual for purposes wholly or mainly outside of your trade, business, craft or profession. You are a ‘business customer’ if you are buying services from our Website for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession. Some terms only apply if you are a consumer and other terms only apply if you are a business customer, so please make sure you read these terms carefully.
3.5 Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in these terms is to M-Media and any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ is to the person placing an order on our site.
3.6 You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the UK to place an order on our Website. If you are a business customer placing an order on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to place such order for and on behalf of that business.
3.7 We may make changes to these terms at any time. However, the terms which apply to your order will be those in force at the time you submitted your order to us.
3.8 Please print out or save a copy of these terms and any emails from us for your records, as we will not save or file a copy for you. These terms are only available in English.
3.9 Your use of our Website is also governed by our Website Terms of Use.
4 VIP Ticket Registration
4.1 VIP Tickets are provided free of charge to VIP visitors or Speakers.
4.2 VIP Tickets are non-transferable unless expressly permitted by Us.
4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel VIP Ticket registrations at our discretion.
5 Availability
5.1 VIP Tickets are subject to availability, and provided on a first come first serve basis. We accept no responsibility for VIP Tickets not being available despite inviting you to register for a VIP Ticket.
5.2 If you would like cancel your registration for a VIP Ticket after you have submitted the registration, or if you are no longer able to attend the Event for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible so we can update our records and offer the VIP Ticket to someone else. You may cancel you registration at any time.
5.3 If you are a Speaker and you are no longer able to attend, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance of the Event.
6 Admission and Conduct
6.1 We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any Attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or in violation of these Terms, or any of the health and safety rules which apply at the Event.
6.2 Attendees must comply with all venue rules, health & safety rules and regulations and instructions from staff.
7 Your information
7.1 Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in line with our Privacy Policy available here which explains what information we collect and hold about you, and how we collect, store, use and share such information.
7.2 In consideration of registering for a VIP Ticket (free of charge) you (i) expressly consent to M-Media collecting personal information during registration the registration process, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, company, and job title; and (ii) if you are a Speaker only, speaking at the Event. This data will be used for:
7.2.1 Performance of the contract. Administering your attendance at the Event (as set out in our Privacy Policy linked at clause 6.1 of these Terms) which shall include communicating important Event updates and information on the run up to and during the Event.
7.2.2 Sponsors. Sharing your details with Event sponsors for marketing and promotional purposes.
(a) Sponsors of the Event may use your data to contact your with information about the Event, to arrange meetings during or after the Event, or share information about their products, services or promotions.
(b) M-Media is not responsible for how Sponsors use your data once shared, but Sponsors are obligated via contract and expected to comply with applicable data protection laws including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and the data protection laws that apply in the jurisdiction of the Event (“Applicable Data Protection Law”).
(c) The Sponsors shall retain your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Please make sure you are aware of these terms before submitting your registration for a VIP Ticket.
(d) You may withdraw consent to receive marketing communications from sponsors at any time by contacting them directly.
(e) M-Media and the Sponsors shall be deemed joint data controllers for the purposes of these Terms and any Applicable Data Protection Laws.
(f) M-Media agrees to comply with all Applicable Data Protection Laws in the handling of your data.
8 Events
8.1 Descriptions, dates and locations of our Events are set out on our Website.
8.2 Whilst we do not intend to do so, we reserve the right to alter, postpone or cancel the Event at any time. In such case we shall notify registered attendees via the contact details provided of any such cancellations. We shall not be liable for any costs which you may have incurred in attending the Event which we have cancelled or postponed of any such nature (travel, accommodation or otherwise).
8.3 We reserve the right to alter the program, schedule or exhibitors without prior notice to you.
8.4 Attendance at the Event shall be at your own risk. We accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the Event, except where required by law. We accept no liability for personal property brought to the Event.
8.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for any death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
8.6 All content, branding and materials associated with the Event are the property of us, the sponsors or the exhibitors.
9 Charges
9.1 VIP Tickets are sold without charge, subject to your consent to share your data with sponsors as provided in clause 7.2.2.
9.2 Should you not consent to share your data with the sponsors of the Event, you must not register for a VIP Ticket. You may register for a paid ticket to the event which shall give you the option to no have your data shared with the sponsors.
10 Events beyond our control
We are not liable to you if we fail to comply with these Terms because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11 No third party rights
No one other than us or you has any right to enforce any of these Terms.
12 Complaints
12.1 If you are unhappy with us or anything related to these Terms or the Event, please contact us using the details provided above.
12.2 We will handle any complaints in accordance with our Complaint Handling Policy which is available upon request.
13 Governing law and jurisdiction
13.1 If you are a consumer, the laws of England and Wales apply to these Terms, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
13.2 If you are a business customer, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, the terms, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. You and us both irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, these terms, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
14 General terms
14.1 You are not allowed to transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone without our prior written consent. We may transfer our rights under these Terms to another business without your consent, but we will notify you of the transfer and make sure that your rights are not adversely affected as a result.
14.2 If any provision of these Terms (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of any other provision of these Terms will not be affected.
14.3 If you breach these Terms and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms.
14.4 If you are a business customer, any variation to these Terms will not be binding unless expressly agreed in writing between you and us.
14.5 If you are a business customer, you and we both agree that these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your order. You acknowledge that you have not entered into these Terms in reliance on any representation or warranty that is not expressly set out in these Terms and that you will have no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation on the basis of any statement in these Terms.
